Prevent Yourself from Needing Teeth Whitening Procedures

You have problems with yellow bad looking teeth? You are afraid to smile because people will see your stained teeth? Then don't freak out because any problem can be resolved, even this one. There are many great teeth whitening techniques that can bring back your beautiful smile.

What you should ask your self is why you end up in this situation. There are numerous factors that lead to bad colored teeth. If you don't know them and you don't do anything to avoid them you will frequently need teeth whitening cosmetic dentistry procedures.

First of all the most common causes of yellow teeth are dark foods, tobacco and coffee. You should try to prevent this nasty situation, by following a stain proof eating plan. Try to reduce as much as you can drinking coffee, tea, cola, red wine, grape juice. They are very harmful for your teeth color. Surprisingly, one of the worst drinks for your teeth is tea. Instead of this drinks i have spoke about above try to drink more water, grapefruit juice, white wine vinegar

There are some easy teeth whitening methods that you can use at home. Try to use a good whitening toothpaste, gel or strips. For maximum efficiency try not to drink any dark liquids or eat any dark food after you used the products above.

As i said before smoking is one of the most nocive elements for your teeth. If you have a little will, you could stop smoking and prevent your teeth from becoming yellow and ugly. Also if you stop smoking is very good for your lungs.

If you think about having an oral piercing I would advice you not to. Having a metal in your mouth all day long can be quite harmful for your teeth.

Another important thing that you should keep in mind is the temperature of the foods you are eating. You should never eat oposite temperatures foods one after another with short time intervals. Your teeth might expand or contract, allowing stains to penetrate them.

Acidic foods can also ease up the staining process of your teeth, so try as much as you can to avoid them.

All in all there are many teeth whitening techniques to choose from so you shouldn't worry to much when you have stained teeth. But try as much as possible to keep them white by avoiding bad foods and habits.

Avoiding Anti-Aging Scams

Despite what you may think, the unsightly signs of aging don't play favorites. With every coming day your skin sheds more and more signs of aging. The older you become, the more your skin looses its radiance and firmness, and thus nears its approach towards fine lines and wrinkles. These are the horrible signs of aging.

One of the biggest fears amongst the human population is the loss of youth. Many individuals attempt to evade this natural phenomenon by utilizing the plethora of cosmetic products currently available. Signs of aging will appear despite any futile attempts to wage war with mother nature. However, one can do several things to delay the onset of aging skin by taking proper care of his/her skin.

Most of us are more than ready to spend massive amounts of money to keep ourselves looking young. Realizing the large interest in anti-aging products, thousands of companies have staked their claim in the cosmetics industry, making numerous anti-aging creams which satisfy the obsessions of everyday people, who believe their skin is developing new wrinkles by the day. These companies have large streams of cash flowing their way by the day. Many of the "miracle products" which these companies manufacture promise to completely eradicate signs of aging. Unfortunately, many consumers are left to find that the majority of these claims are false.

Knowing this, consumers should take care to conduct the proper amount of research before buying a specific anti-aging product. We recommend scouring the internet for any product reviews which you can get your hands on. Also, be sure to ask friends any family for any recommendations they may have.

Necklace -The Beauty Of

A necklace is a piece of jewelry that is worn around the neck for ornamental value. Necklace gives beauty to the neck as it touches the throat. Women love jewelry and would love to be looked upon as being attractive to others and to this end, pieces of jewelry are their passion.

History looks at a necklace as a seductive piece of jewelry and in those days, women were said to have worn necklaces to attract attention to the cleavage. The Italians wore them with pendants that were hollow and filled with perfume. Egyptians wore heavy gold necklaces on very low necklines, giving them a look par excellence. Queen Alexandra was said to have worn real pearl necklaces for all formal events and state occasions. Pearl necklaces were so expensive that it is said that an American skyscraper was exchanged for the price of a pearl necklace.

Necklaces are made from various metals and a locket or pendant can also be attached to them. Pendants of cross are worn by the Christians while pendants of Gods and Goddesses are worn by Hindus. They are also studded with precious stones, beads, shells, or wood to give them a grand look.

Necklaces that are worn high on the neck are known as chokers. The necklace that ends on the cleavage is called the Matine necklace. Opera necklaces are longer and end below the breasts. Then there are the rope necklaces that are longer then the opera necklaces.

Necklaces that match the outfit are common and different colored gemstones are studded to create color. Rubies are embedded for their red color, sapphires for the blue color, emeralds for green, and diamonds for their brightness and white color. Swarovski crystal necklaces are more expensive than glass and are making a fashion statement because of the brilliance and dazzle of the crystals. Multicolored necklaces are in vogue and these are fitted with several types of gems to give them the exclusive look to go with any heavy outfit on a special occasion. A bride in a white wedding dress with diamonds studded in white gold looks ethereal and princess like.

Jewelers stock necklace sets, which have a necklace, matching earrings, and bracelet. This makes it easier for people to buy everything at one place instead of running around to find something that matches their necklace.

Gift your mother with a beautiful traditional gold necklace with a matching set of ear studs on her birthday or anniversary and see the joy in her face. No matter what the age is, this is one piece of jewelry that is loved and worn by all with the same eager enthusiasm and passion.

Too Much? Breast Reduction

Reduction mammoplasty, or breast reduction, is a good cosmetic surgical procedure for a woman experiencing health problems and/or extreme self-consciousness associated with very large, heavy breasts. The goal is to give the woman a more attractive look with smaller, better-shaped breasts in proportion with the rest of her body. She will then benefit from freedom of health problems associated with large breasts and an improved self-image.

Medical problems associated with very large breasts include back and neck pain caused from excessive weight, skin irritation, skeletal deformities and breathing problems. Bra straps may leave shoulder indentations. Large, heavy breasts also contribute to poor posture, and can interfere with normal daily activities such as exercise. Excessive breast size may also lead to a decreased sense of attractiveness and self-confidence.

Breast reduction is done under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis or in the hospital. The surgery removes fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. It can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. After the surgery, the breasts are placed in a surgical bra that will hold them symmetrically during initial healing. The initial discomfort subsides daily and can be controlled with painkillers. Scars will fade in 6-18 months.

When performed by a qualified plastic surgeon, breast reduction is a safe procedure. Nevertheless, as with any surgery, there is always a possibility of complications. Discuss this with a doctor before making your decision. If you do have this surgery, you can reduce your risks of side effects by closely following your physician's advice both before and after surgery.

Although your surgeon will make your scars as inconspicuous as possible, some permanent scarring is inevitable. Smokers are more likely to experience poor healing and wider scars. The good news is, your bra or bathing suit will cover whatever scars remain, and most likely, the scars will not prevent you from wearing low-cut tops. After recovery, life will go on as before.

Mini Liposuction

One of the most sought-after cosmetic surgery procedures in recent years is liposuction. While not exactly done as a replacement for dieting and exercise, liposuction is designed to remove really stubborn areas of fat which just wont go away with the more traditional methods of losing weight. Known as a body sculpting procedure, liposuction removes unwanted fat from the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, upper arms, knees, neck, chin, and cheeks.

During the past few years, a number of newly-developed techniques or methods of liposuction have been helping many cosmetic surgeons provide more precise results and quicker recovery times for selected patients. Among these techniques are the ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty (UAL), the tumescent technique, the super-wet technique, and the mini liposuction.

First introduced by Beverly Hills liposuction specialist Dr. David M. Amron, mini-liposuction means exactly what the name actually implies: a shorter version of the liposuction procedure. Mini-liposuction is deemed the ideal method to use when making spot reductions in one or two stomach areas in persons who are closer to their ideal body weight. Simply put, a person who is slightly out of proportion because of one or two stubborn fatty areas can be made proportionate with the application of the mini-liposuction procedure.

Mini-liposuction focuses primarily on just one or two areas. The entire procedure, which normally just takes less than one hour of a patients time, involves the removal of less than one liter or 2.5 pounds of fat from the area being operated on. Furthermore, the whole mini-liposuction procedure can be done under local anesthesia, which means that a patient faces lesser risks. Most important of all, mini-liposuction will set a patient back by less than $2,500.

Among the areas of the body that mini-liposuction can take care of include those located around the knees, beneath the chin, above the breast at the armpit and behind the elbows. The mini-liposuction procedure can also be applied to other areas of the body which present a small amount of excess fat.

The whole mini-liposuction procedure, while tending to involve very minimal recovery time, can provide a patient with results that can only be described as dramatic.

But as with most cosmetic surgery patients, those who are considering mini-liposuction must have realistic expectations on the results the procedure can give them. If people think they can just undergo mini-liposuction just for the heck of it, theyve got another think coming. Like whats been said above, mini-liposuction, or any other liposuction procedure, is no substitute for dieting and exercise. While it definitely can help enhance the appearance and self-esteem of a person, mini-liposuction cant change the way you look exactly the way youve fantasized. It is wise then to further contemplate your reasons for undergoing mini-liposuction before making your decision.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Reshaping) Is it worth it?

Most experts believe that our obsession with nose reshaping stems from history. Who can forget the Greek Gods with their acquiline shapely noses thrust in the air? However, per Rhinoplasty Los Angeles expert Dr. Vladimir, our interest in Rhinoplasty is mainly due to our interest in fine chiseled features.

So whether it is chin implants, or body contouring, or even breast enlargement Los Angeles customers mainly clamour for a sleek and sharp look.

This fits in nicely with our preconceived notion of a slim body being sought after.

So is the future bright for Plastic Surgeons?

It depends, in our opinion. While modern science has near perfected the art of plastic surgery, there is still an ethical dilemma to some. Should we accept what is natural and suffer, or help improve ourselves through a cosmetic surgery? Los Angles Plastic Surgery patients in general we feel are happy with their choices.

On the other hand, some among Los Angeles tummy tuck and Liposuction Los Angeles patients does mention that it may be construed to provide the easy way out to many overweight people who dont watch their diets. This is often not true as many people can do little to prevent being overweight, it is in their genes. However, although less in Los Angeles Cosmetic Surgeons are forever fighting the battle to make the plastic surgery procedures mainstream.

How To Buy Perfume That Right For You

How To Buy Perfume That Right For You

Buying Perfume can be a very hard decision, especially when you buying that perfume for your friend or lover. Different people will have different choice of perfume. Also each fragrance will produce a different scent on various types of skin. Therefore, when buying perfume we need to do some good research and try it out before you make the final decision.

There are hundreds brands of perfume and thousands of scents available in the market nowadays. If you never bought any perfume before and not sure which perfume will be right for you or your friend, you should check out the Perfume Review website online like kxxp://boisdejasmin.typepad.com/ or ask your friend to see which perfume is popular that most people use it. After that, you can go out to department store to try it on your skin.

Trial and testing Perfume

There are 2 ways that you can try perfume either direct on your skin or spray on the fragrance blotters. Now there is both advantage and disadvantage about these two methods of testing if you only using one method.

By testing on your skin, you will be able to know exactly how does it smell on your skin, but you cant try out too many different types of perfume simply because all the perfume that you try after the first one will mix with the first one and you wont get the correct smell of those fragrance.

By testing on the fragrance blotters, you can spray on different cards and write the name of that fragrance at the back of those cards. But this method of testing wont give you exactly how it smells on your skin either.

The best way is to try on the fragrance blotters first, then choose the smell that you like and try it on your skin, that way you can get the fragrance you like and the right perfume for your skin.

Types of Perfume

There are 4 main different types of perfume. Eau De Cologne, Eau De Toilette, Eau De Parfum and Parfum. They are ranging from the least concentrate to the most concentrate and therefore the different in price.

Eau de Cologne (EDC) is the term used today to refer to a perfume solution with around a 3% compound in an oil and water base. Its the lightest of perfumes and, therefore the least expensive.

Eau de Toilette (EDT) - is a perfume solution with a 3-8% compound in an oil and water base. It is a bit more expensive.

Eau de Parfum (EDP) is a perfume solution with a 10-15% compound.

Parfum is the highest concentration of oils, with 20-50% compound, which makes it last longer than others and the most expensive.

Size of Perfume

Perfume is packed in different sizes. In Europe and USA, perfume usually measures by Oz, in Australia or other countries we measure by ml. 1Oz is equivalent to 30ml (1Oz ~30ml). The most common size usually is 50ml, 75ml or 100ml. If you are buying the fragrance for the first time, you should buy the small bottle to try it out first. If you already wear that fragrance before and you really like it, then go ahead and purchase the big bottle because they are usually best value for money.

There is some small sample called vial on card or vial mini as well, those bottles are usually for trial. It is a good idea for you to buy those trial first to test it out before go ahead to buy a big bottle.

The Most Commonly Performed Cosmetic Surgery Is Liposuction

If you are considering liposuction, you are far from alone. Statistics show that in the mid 90s as many as 300,000 people had liposuction each year. That number is increasing as the popularity for cosmetic surgery grows. The best statistic youll hear if you are considering this procedure it has a very high satisfaction rate!

First introduced in 1979, liposuction has changed significantly over the years. When first performed, this surgery required lengthy stays in the hospital with long recovery times and even blood transfusions. Known as a Tummy Tuck, the procedure was done in a similar fashion to a c-section a big smile incision was cut from hip to hip and then removal of the skin and fat underneath was accomplished. However liposuction performed in this way resulted in patients generally not being able to walk upright for up to six weeks, suffering great pain and scarring.

Today, liposuction can be done as an outpatient procedure at one of many surgical center facilities. It is relatively painless with bleeding, infections and other complications very rare. The normal events that will occur when liposuction is planned are the following:

Consultation with the doctor. At this visit, the doctor will look over the patient and draw on areas where he will be performing the liposuction. These drawings will occur around the entire body, as the doctor will normally be looking at improving the look of the body from all angles.

Day of surgery:

Upon arrival, the patient may be given something like Valium to help them relax (if nervous).

Demerol or other pain reliever is injected.

Lying down, the fatty areas of the body are filled with a solution of sterile salt water, adrenaline and anesthetic.

When the anesthetic takes effect, small holes are made in the skin with small needles where fat is to be removed.

A cannula, or thin tube, is then inserted into the fatty areas. Suction removes the fat through this tube and puts it into a disposable container.

After the fat is removed, you are wrapped in a dressing that stays on your body for approximately five days. Foam pads are placed on the areas where the cannula entered the skin and the patient is then placed in a garment similar to a girdle. This girdle-like garment holds the patients skin tightly and holds the foam pads firmly in place.

Recovery:

Day of surgery After the procedure is completed, the patient can normally return home in about an hour. When home, many take the rest of the day off and rest or sleep.

Day after surgery Most patients feel sore, but there is little discomfort. The girdle-garment begins to feel constricting on the day after surgery.

Second day after surgery Many patients have called this the worst day of the entire experience. The overall feeling of being sore and bound up is the most unpleasant on this day.

After that, the liposuction experience just keeps getting better and better. Small amounts of activity can be done from the day after surgery and many patients are back to work by the third day after the procedure. The foam pads can be removed after the fifth day. When the pads are removed, the patient has an opportunity to see a glimpse of their new bodyand most love what they see!

The rest of the recovery period is just the body gradually healing. Drainage from the treated sites normally stops by the seventh day after surgery, the slight bruising that can occur will heal in about two weeks, and puffiness and swelling can take several months to completely disappear. The garment given to the patient after surgery must be worn for up to 4 weeks.

After the recovery period has ended, the patients opinion of the liposuction is almost always positive. Dropping a size or two can make anyone feel better about themselves.

The only thing those who are thinking about liposuction must realize is that this procedure doesnt permanently eliminate fat. If you have liposuction and return to your old habits (lack of exercise and overeating), the fat will come back quickly. However, liposuction in addition to a new lifestyle of moderate exercise and healthy eating can lead to a much thinner, shapelier body in the end.

How to Relax and Rejuvenate Your Skin

Get a weekly, deep-tissue massage!

This technique allows you to lay down, to get rubbed by another person while listening to soothing music, while you're strengthening your heart, you're improving the oxygen in your cells, you're eliminating cellular waste, you're decreasing blood pressure, you're relieving stress and tension, you're relieving muscle soreness, stimulating all your nerve points in your body, draining the lymphatic system, improving your skin tone and elasticity, etc., etc., etc.

The benefits go on and on and on when it comes to deep-tissue massage.

Now there are a lot of forms of massage out there, but I feel that a "deep-tissue massage" does more to help us look and feel younger than any other form out there.

Personally, I enjoy getting a deep-tissue massage at least once a week, but you could do it at as often as you like.

Once a week does it for me because it doesn't cut too much into my schedule, yet it allows me to get all the benefits that we just spoke about.

If you don't have access to a good massage therapist or have the time to drive to a spa, then drive to a bookstore and get a book on how to give a massage and actually work through the book exchanging weekly or nightly massages with your partner.

Getting a deep-tissue massage will allow every system in your body to work more efficiently, and it'll relax and rejuvenate your skin, allowing it to appear a lot more supple and radiant.

That's it for this week - your homework is to take out the phone book and locate a good, qualified massage therapist and get yourself a deep tissue massage this week.

Look Younger Without Going Under the Knife

If Botox, collagen injections or plastic surgery aren't on your top list of to-do's to help yourself look younger, read on. You don't need to take extreme measures to reveal a more vibrant you because there are many simple and natural ways to refresh your appearance and help you look younger.

One of the first things I recommend is to put your money where your mouth is, literally. Fix your smile. A recent national survey conducted by Roper Public Affairs found that more than six in 10 Americans (62 percent) believe straightening crooked teeth can make an adult look younger and 77 percent agree that doing so is one of the best investments a person can make in improving one's appearance.

Don't just focus on your face to look younger. Think about your body, too. There are many inexpensive and fun things you can do to your body to look younger and feel your best. Some of my top tips include:

* Wear brighter colors. Adding color to your wardrobe makes you look happier and feel more alive. Let everyone else wear depressing black to the reunion.

* Stand up straight. You'll instantly have a better body.

* Work magic with body slimmers. These undergarments make you look thinner in a matter of moments.

* Mess around at the makeup counter. Have fun at the make up counter. Get makeovers and advice. Take pictures of yourself to see what looks best.

My final advice is to just be honest and accepting about who you are because people can see shame in your game. And most importantly, make sure any investment you make is the best one for you.

Mark Montano hosts "10 Years Younger," a makeover show on TLC and is an Invisalign patient and spokesman.

Bracelet a Fashion Statement For Eternity

Bracelet is a piece of jewelry that embraces the wrist and enhances the beauty of a slender hand. The name bracelet is taken from the Latin word brachile, which means of the arm. Bracelets give an exotic look and there is no woman who wouldnt want to show off this ornament dangling from her wrist.

Bracelets have been worn for a long time. Our ancestors wore bracelets made of wood, beads, stones, bone strips etc. Bone strips were formed into rings and then fastened in a circle with metal clasps. Metal and ivory were also used in the 4th century.

There are several superstitions associated with bracelets in several parts of the world. Some believe that certain bracelets ward off evil, while others believe they bring good luck. There is a Greek superstition where mothers make bracelets (Martis) with red and white string and tie them on their childrens wrists on March 1st. They believe that wearing these bracelets will ensure that the sun does not burn their cheeks and they remain pink in color. After midnight, they are thrown into a bonfire.

Bracelets in the modern day are made of a variety of materials. They are made from precious metals like gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and white gold. Precious gemstones set in precious metal bracelets, bestow grandeur and incomparable elegance. To make them more affordable to the common man, they are even made with cheaper materials like plastic, beads, glass etc. Bangles are also a form of bracelets, which are used extensively in India. These can be in plain form or set with stones. When bangles made of glass are worn together they give out a tinkling sound that is beautiful. Every material known to man is used in the making of bracelets.

There is a bracelet for almost every occasion and even sports are not left behind. There are charm bracelets, tennis bracelets, sports bracelets, slap bracelets etc. Colored silicon rubber is used in the production of sports bracelets and this trend has been started by Lance Armstrong, in the form of wristbands, for cancer awareness. The tennis bracelet is also called a thin line diamond bracelet. They are thin and elegant and have a symmetrical pattern of diamonds. When talking about tennis bracelets, Chris Evert, the tennis star comes to mind as she was not only famous for her bracelets, but she is said to have lost one during the US Open in 1987 and the game had to be paused while she searched for her precious bracelet. This is when the tennis bracelet name was given to the thin line diamond bracelets. The Pros and Cons of Electrolysis

Electrolysis is a method by which body hair is removed. It can be performed on any part of the body except the ears and the inside of the nose. Women often have electrolysis done on their bikini area, underarms, tummy, breasts, chin, brows, and upper lip, although hair can also be removed on the toes, arms, forehead, buttocks and legs. Many men also use electrolysis to remove unwanted hair on their eyebrows, cheekbones, neck, but especially their shoulders and backs. Electrolysis can be arduous in that each individual hair must receive treatment. The treatment consists of a trained practitioner inserting a needle under the skin. An electric current passes through the hair follicle, damaging it.

It is believed that experiments involving electronial epilation (the removal of hair) were taking place as long ago as the Civil War era. Dr. Charles E. Michel (himself an ophthalmologist) reported in the St. Louis Clinical Record in 1875 of the first successful permanent hair epilation by electrolysis. Since then, electrolysis has become quite popular.

Is electrolysis for you?
You should compare the pros and cons of receiving electrolysis before you make that decision. What are some of the advantages of using electrolysis for permanent hair removal? Perhaps the strongest case for using electrolysis for hair removal is that is has the best record of accomplishment for results. For over one hundred and twenty five years, practitioners have been removing hair safely and effectively. In fact, electrolysis is the only method approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a way to remove hair permanently. While some hair may grow back and require additional treatments, that hair is often thinner and lighter. Studies have shown that more than 90% of clients are happy with their electrolysis results.

While the advantages to having electrolysis are huge, a couple of smaller disadvantages may prevent some people off from trying it. One disadvantage is the cost involved. Electrolysis can be very expensive. The average cost of a one-hour electrolysis session is generally between $50 and $60. Remember, however, that during this one-hour session, each hair follicle has to be individually treated. Electrolysis sessions are often broken down into fifteen, thirty, and forty-five minute sessions as well, making them a bit more affordable. You may also get a discount by purchasing a package of two or more hours. Because it is not possible to remove the hair permanently in one treatment, you will need to have additional treatments. How many treatments you need is determined by many things including hair growth cycles, heredity, hormone function, and stress. The average cost of a complete treatment of your legs ranges between $1000 and $3000.

Another disadvantage of electrolysis is that it can be painful and there is a risk of scarring. The sensation of pain depends on each persons pain threshold, but there is a feeling of a pinprick and of course, some areas of the body are more sensitive than other areas. Some people compare the pain of electrolysis to that of plucking a hair with a pair of tweezers. While scarring is not common, there is always a risk. Pitted scarring often occurs when flash thermolysis electrolysis is used on thick, deeply rooted hair as opposed to shallow, thin hair. Finding a qualified practitioner with years of experience should reduce the risk of scarring.

When considering electrolysis, there are several things you should ask the practitioner. Ask if they use needle electrolysis. This has a much higher success rate than those that use the electric tweezers or photoepilators. Ask how many clients they have treated and how long they have been in business. Finally, ask their qualifications and training for being a practitioner. One third of the states in the U.S. do not require a certification for electrologists. However, you can research the Internet to find whether your state is one that requires certification. If it is, the practitioner should have the certificate prominently displayed.

Some people are not good candidates for electrolysis. People with a pacemaker cannot receive electrolysis. Those with diabetes or other serious health problems should always contact their physician before seeking electrolysis treatments to make sure it is safe. Electrolysis is safe for women who are pregnant as long as the thermolysis mode is used.

Taking care of your skin is hardly a difficult process. Healthy lifestyle with proactive skin care could leave the right impact on your skin. Care for your skin and it would never betray you.

A Look At Bodybuilding As A Sport

Competitive bodybuilding is a sport in which athletes attempt to develop and maintain the perfect muscular body. As bodybuilding competitors show off their physique and perform with a number of poses, they are judged by a qualified panel of experts who will render the final decision as to the winner.

When it comes to bodybuilding, the appearance of a competitors physique is much more important than how much he/she can lift. The sport of bodybuilding, therefore, should not be confused with or compared to a competition of strength. Instead, it is one of visual appeal. Bodybuilding is open to both men and women with specialized categories for each.

For those who regularly compete in bodybuilding competitions, or are interested in participating, the main strategy for contest preparation includes a combination of resistance weight training, a customized nutrition plan and plenty of rest. Resistance training is very important in bodybuilding as it is this that causes an increase in muscle size. The importance of nutrition comes into play as muscles grow, are injured and repaired during the bodybuilding process. In order for the body to properly heal itself, a customized nutrition plan is a must. Generally, bodybuilding competitors will eat a larger number of meals per day, but in smaller quantities. For instance, rather than eating three normal meals a day, a bodybuilding competitor may divide their food up into six or seven small meals.

Because of the strenuous regimen required of any bodybuilder, athletes often enlist the help of a nutritionist and a professional trainer. These individuals can work together to make sure that the athlete is training properly and also receiving the proper amount of nutrition. Rather than having to figure out how much to eat, when to eat and how often to work out, the trainer and nutritionist will handle all of the details while the athlete concentrates on building muscle.

At the end of the day, which is often exhausting for many bodybuilding competitors, rest is essential. Not only for the obvious reasons, but it is during rest that the muscle growth occurs. Without eight hours of sleep every night, some bodybuilding competitors find it difficult to regain energy and rebuild strength after an exhausting workout. In addition, many competitors find that an afternoon nap may further increase their bodys ability to increase muscle.
Individuals who are interested in entering into the world of bodybuilding should consult with local trainers in their area. If there are no trainers to be found, a stop at the local gym may provide answers as to finding a qualified trainer. Bodybuilding is a sport that requires a lot of dedication and even more hard work, which is evident in the physique of most competitors.

The information in this article is intended to be used for informational purposes only. It should not be used in conjunction with, or in place of, professional medical, nutritional or training advice regarding bodybuilding as a sport or as a hobby. If you are considering a venture into the world of bodybuilding, you must consult with a physician prior to beginning any exercise and/or nutritional regimen.

Today's Orthodontic Treatment: Comfortable, Convenient

Brace yourself: As a result of innovations in orthodontic materials, orthodontists are able to provide today's patients with a comfortable and convenient experience while working toward the ultimate goal of a healthy, beautiful smile, a good bite and improved facial appearance.

Traditional braces, a combination of brackets and wires, have moved into the 21st century. Metal brackets are smaller and less conspicuous; tooth-colored brackets blend with the color of teeth. Patients benefit from the use of NASA-developed technology: advanced "space-age" wires with built-in memory. The wires, which actually move the teeth under the orthodontist's supervision, deliver a light, continuous pressure. When they reach mouth temperature, the wires become active and "remember" their original shape. As the wires attempt to return to that shape, they gently guide the teeth into their correct positions. When compared to materials used as recently as a decade ago, today's high-tech materials can result in fewer and less frequent appointments, so patients require less time away from school or work, and the treatment time may be shorter.

According to the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), more than 5 million people in the U.S. and Canada are receiving care from AAO members, dental specialists who graduated from dental school and completed a minimum of two to three years of university-based training in an acwealthbuilding.co.za">credited orthodontic residency program. More than 1 million of these orthodontic patients are adults. Many are in their 40s, 50s and beyond.

Teeth tend to drift as people mature. Even those who were born with perfectly placed teeth can experience these unwanted changes. Many consult an orthodontist to rejuvenate their smile and get a healthy bite. Between 1994 and 2004, the number of adult patients grew by 37 percent. An estimated 63 percent of adult patients are women.

But some things never change. Orthodontic patients need to follow their orthodontist's instructions regarding elastic wear and good oral hygiene. Avoiding foods that are too hard, sticky, crunchy or chewy is also key. Such foods can damage braces, which may lengthen time spent in braces. Additionally, orthodontic patients need to see their dentist at least every six months for checkups and professional cleanings. Following these recommendations helps patients complete their treatment on time and with desired results.

How to Apply Fake Tan

The dangers of sunbathing are well documented which is why self tanning is becoming increasingly popular. Follow these simple steps to ensure you achieve a perfect looking tan.

Pre- Application

(a) If you have sensitive skin, do a patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours before applying to the entire body. If a reaction develops do not use.

(b) Exfoliate thoroughly and preferably for 2-3 days prior to the self tan application. This will give a smoother surface for the fake tan to be applied and will prevent the tan becoming patchy and uneven.

(c) Moisturise on a daily basis, preferable using a moisturiser that is from the same brand as the self tanning product. Avoid oil based moisturisers which can prevent absorption of self tanning products making them patchy and uneven.

(d) Remove any unwanted hair at least 24 hours before applying the self tan.

(e) Remove hard skin from heels of feet.

Before You Start

(a) Remove all traces of make up with a non oil based cleanser or make up remover.

(b) Remove jewellery.

(c) Do not wear perfume, deodorant or oil based body lotion.

Application Instructions

Step 1: Exfoliating
Exfoliate the entire body using a generous amount of exfoliating product, paying particular attention to elbows, knees, hands, feet and ankles. Once the product has been rubbed thoroughly into the skin it can either be mitted, sponged or rinsed off. Dry the skin thoroughly.

Step 2: Moisturising
Apply moisturising body lotion all over the body, paying particular attention to drier areas including the elbows, knees, ankles, feet and hands. Leave to absorb thoroughly.

Step 3: Fake Tan Application
(a) Wear gloves to protect the hands from staining.
(b) Apply a small amount of fake tan to the fingertips, and apply to the face in small circular movements. Blend the product over the entire face, as if applying foundation. (c) Apply minimum product around the eyebrows and hair line, to the ears and behind the ears.
(d) Apply the product evenly to the neck and shoulders, again working in small circular movements down towards the arms.
(e) Bend the elbows, and apply minimum product to elbows working down towards the lower arm and apply evenly.
(f) Apply product to breast area if required working down towards the stomach.
Bend knees and sweep only minimum product over knees.
(g) Apply a generous amount of product evenly to upper and lower legs but again using minimum products over the ankle.
(h) Sweep minimal fake tan over the feet, avoiding contact with the nails and soles of the feet as this may cause staining.
(i) Ask someone to help you apply self tan to your back.
(j) Take off one glove and sweep it across the other hand. Take off the second glove and sweep it over the other hand gently. Avoid getting product on the nail plate and palms of the hands as this causes staining.

Step4: Allow to dry thoroughly without coming into contact with water

While Tan Develops

(a) Wear loose clothing and no footwear if possible
(b) Avoid perspiration by avoiding exercise and heat
(c) Keep the skin completely dry
(d) Do not apply any other toiletries or beauty products
(e) Do not shower for at least 6-8 hours. Preferably apply before bed and shower in the morning.

After the tan has developed avoid using the following beauty products:

(a) Harsh exfoliating products and facial scrubs
(b) Products that contain AHAs
(c) Body brushes / loofahs / mitts

Gently pat the skin dry after showering, do not rub. Avoid excessive use of soaps. Avoid waxing, shaving or bleaching. Avoid swimming as this will shorten the life of the tan, and will lighten the colour.

Easy Home Remedy for Moisture control of Skin

Many women find that their skin becomes drier after the age of 35.This may be a welcome change for those who suffered from oily skin earlier in life, but women with normal or dry skin may find that their skin appears flaky, tight, and lacks the lustrous appearance that moisture imparts. Skin dryness is caused not only by moisture loss from the skin's outer layer, but also from a lack of moisture moving upward from the underlying layers of the skin. Applying a moisturizer softens and moisturizes the top layer of skin, but the effects are only temporary.

To have soft, pliable, moist skin, you need to lubricate your skin from the inside. Drink at least six glasses of pure water daily and eat plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits to keep your body tissues well-hydrated. Don't wait to drink until you are thirsty because by then you are already dehydrated. Instead, keep a container of water handy for sipping throughout the day. If you find plain water boring, try making unsweetened or lightly sweetened herbal teas such as linden flower, chamomile, or mint.

A moist external environment also provides moisture for your skin and helps to keep cells plump. Use a humidifier during the winter months to counteract the drying effects of indoor heating and also during the summer if you use air conditioning or if you live in a dry climate. Misting your skin frequently with pure mineral water or a facial mist containing floral waters and aromatherapy essential oils provides an immediate and refreshing boost of moisture for your skin throughout the day. Soaking in a warm bath is an effective way of hydrating the skin of your entire body. Avoid excessively hot water, because it can remove protective oils from your skin. After a 15-minute soak, massage your body with an aromatherapy oil while you are still wet from the bath, and then gently pat your skin dry with a towel. The thin layer of aromatherapy oil acts as a protective barrier that prevents the evaporation of moisture that your skin has absorbed from the bath.

Dealing With Dandruff - Natural Treatments

CAUSES OF DANDRUFF

Although the cause of dandruff is not completely understood, it is currently theorized that one of the main causes is a breakdown of the scalps natural lipid barrier, leaving it more exposed to infection by the microscopic yeast that is commonly found in the scalp. When the yeast overgrows, it leads to an inflammatory response that kills off scalp cells at a high rate, which in turn slough off in sticky patches and flakes.

The condition is identified by:

 White or clear flakes on the scalp, through the hair, and on clothing.
 Itchy scalp which may be red and inflamed.

Some young teens find they develop dandruff when they hit puberty because their hygiene habits haven’t changed to meet the challenges of newly accelerated sebum production.

Stress, poor hygiene and poor diet can make the scalp more susceptible to dandruff. High sugar foods in particular are known to exacerbate yeast infections.

The hair should be brushed regularly to loosen flakes and stimulate blood supply to the scalp, which will accelerate the natural immune response to infection.

TREATING DANDRUFF

There are few habits you can develop and natural treatments you can use to treat dandruff.

Nutrition: An excess of sugar in the diet can exacerbate any yeast infection. Try reducing your intake of all sugars and refined starches while treating for dandruff.

Cleansing: Massage your scalp thoroughly with your fingertips when shampooing. This will help loosen and remove any dead skin flakes and help prevent the infection from continuing. Wash your hair daily until the infection is cleared up.

Conditioning: Use a protective hair condition on the ends of hair only. Avoid getting conditioner on your scalp where it can clog pores and interfere with healing of the skin.

Other Treatments:

○ Massage: Massaging your scalp several times a day with the pads of the fingers only will stimulate blood supply to the hair follicles and help loosen the dead skin flakes.

○ Brushing: Brushing your hair thoroughly on a daily basis will help loosen and remove dead skin flakes, increase the smooth flow of sebum along the hair shaft, and increase blood supply to the hair follicles.

○ Wash Hands After Brushing and Grooming Hair: Fungal infections of the skin are highly contagious, and it is easy to reinfect and spread to other areas of the body. This is why it’s important to wash your hair daily and to brush out any loose dandruff flakes – so that healthy areas of the scalp will not be infected. Washing your hands after brushing, massaging and grooming your hair will also help prevent reinfection or cross infection.

The following herbs and nutrients have been shown to reduce dandruff infections:

Natural Internal Treatments for Dandruff

Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Vanadyl Sulfate, Gynema Sylvestre and Chromium are all natural regulators of blood sugar levels. The can help prevent feeding the infection by keeping blood sugar levels normalized.

Olive Leaf and Oregano Leaf are both natural systemic antifungal agents.

Natural External Treatments for Dandruff

The following herbs can be used as a tonic for reducing fungal infections on a topical basis. Extracts of these herbs or a several drops of their essential oils dissolved in aloe vera gel or witch hazel can greatly relieve the symptoms of itching and flaking in dandruff. Tea tree oil is particularly effective against fungal and bacterial infections.
Clary Sage
Desert Sage
Eucalyptus
Fumitory
Ginkgo Biloba
Ginsen
Grapefruit Seed Extract
Grapefruit Essential Oil
Grapeseed Extract
Juniper Berry Essential Oil

Plastic Surgery Financing: Cheap And Affordable?

Although the advances in technology makes plastic surgery accessible to loads of people, the cost of certain complex procedures is still on the higher side for some people. Thankfully, plastic surgery financing renders such procedures affordable to those who might otherwise renounce the option of surgery due to high expense. Since cosmetic surgery is not covered by health insurance schemes, financing is the only way to cut down the cost of certain expensive procedures.

Several financing options are available to patients. Patients may either opt for easy installment schemes offered by the surgeon or may acquire wealthbuilding.co.za">credit from outside sources. However, it is imperative that the patient puts in a diligent effort to conduct preliminary research, in order to find the best possible financing plan. Plastic surgery financing is available irrespective of complexity and length of the procedure. However, the monthly installment may vary, depending on the total cost of the procedure and time required to repay the loan. Moreover, its always nice to have a good wealthbuilding.co.za">credit rating, since that aids heavily in acquiring the much needed loan for the surgery.

It might be the case that you wont have to fish around for a wealthbuilding.co.za">credit source. Most reputed surgeons have liaisons with plastic surgery financing firms, which make the loan application and approval process a cinch. However, it is advisable to explore all possible options for finance, and then opt for the one that has a suitable rate of interest and installment scheme.

Its true that plastic surgery financing can provide you access to those fabulous cosmetic surgery procedures, which might otherwise seem pricey. But in search for a cheap and affordable option, you must not compromise on the expertise and experience of the surgeon. After all, what would you gain by paying less, if the surgery is an unsuccessful endeavor? Therefore, your primary goal should be to search for an expert surgeon and then look for financing.

Enhanced Fat Loss with Interval Training

In this article I want to compare traditional long, slow cardio with interval training for fat loss. From a fat loss standpoint, the more calories you burn, the better. Let's see how good long, slow cardio and interval training are at burning calories.

Long, slow cardio burns more calories during training, but interval training burns more calories overall (during and after training), because it makes you burn calories between training sessions since your body must recover from the intense bout. It's "hard" on your body. Winner: interval training.

Long, slow cardio won't help you gain muscle mass. On the other hand, interval training makes you gain muscle mass, because to sprint or bike like crazy you need to push on the pedal really hard. This builds muscle (think of a sprinter). Since the more muscle you have, the higher is your resting metabolic rate, interval training makes you burn more calories all day, every day. Winner: interval training.

Another benefit of interval training is that it takes much less time (about 30 minutes per session). Winner: interval training.

On the other hand, interval training is too hard for beginners. If you're a beginner, stick to slow jogging first for two weeks, and then experiment with increasing the pace for 5 minutes and walking for the next 5 minutes. Once that becomes easy, shorten the work interval and increase its speed. Winner: long, slow cardio.

Overall, if you're fit, interval training is best. But since it's very hard on the body, no one (even elite runners) does it more than twice per week. So, to lose fat quickly, your best bet is a combination of interval training (1-2 times per week) and long, slow cardio (2-3 times per week). Plus it brings variety to your training, which is good. Winner: both.

To sum up, if you want to maximize fat loss, I suggest you do interval training alone on the days you do it, and that you do some weight lifting and then long, slow cardio on the other days you train.

This being said, the specifics of interval training can get tricky. Hopefully I can share with you the method I prefer later. Athletes and smart trainers use interval training: you also should.

6 Common Cosmetic Dental Procedures Explained

Cosmetic dentistry helps many people get a confident smile, and also corrects many dental anomalies. Six of the most common cosmetic dental procedures are:

1.Dental bonding: This is carried out to fill gaps in the teeth and cover stains and chips. The process involves the application of a composite resin material to the tooth. The material, which is available in several shades, is sculpted to cover the desired area. It is then dried using a high-intensity light or a chemical. The process does not cause any discomfort to the patient except when a minor tooth roughening is done. Dental bonding does not require more than one visit to the dentist and is relatively inexpensive as compared to other dental restoration techniques.

2.Tooth contouring and reshaping: This quick, inexpensive, and non-invasive procedure is used to fix dental issues such as overlaps, shallow pits and grooves in the enamel, worn edges, and chipped teeth. The dentist uses a polishing instrument for the removal of a tiny amount of enamel and the tooth is reformed. The enamel removal procedure is carried out only after dentists confirm through x-rays that the teeth requiring reshaping are strong enough to withstand some enamel loss. The process is completed with the smoothing and polishing of the edges of the newly contoured tooth. The process usually requires a follow-up visit after the first visit.

3.Mouth guards and night guards: These are plastic appliances that offer protection to the mouth during sports and also while sleeping. Mouth guards disperse shock caused by violent contact and thus protect the head and neck. They are prepared using a cast of the teeth. The mouth guards can be stock, mouth-formed, or custom-made. Night guards prevent bruxing between teeth during sleep. They are ideal for people with worn teeth, those who suffer aches in the jaws, and people with teeth that are sensitive to cold.

4.Halitosis or bad breath: The breakdown of food particles by the bacteria present under plaque, in the crevices on the tongue, and between teeth leads to the generation of volatile sulfur compounds (VSC) that cause bad breath. Periodontal disease is also a cause of halitosis. Dentists determine the amount of VSC being generated by using a halimeter. Treatment usually involves following a prescribed oral hygiene routine that may include the use of irrigators, artificial saliva, tongue scrapers, etc.

5.Tooth whitening: This treatment is useful for removing stains that appear due to the consumption to tea, coffee, cigarettes, and wine. Whitening is carried out using bleaching gel, which is usually hydrogen or carbamide peroxide. The gel breaks down releasing oxygen molecules that penetrate the enamel and dentin and disintegrate the stains. The time required for results to appear depends upon the source of the stain and varies from a few hours to a few weeks.

6.Crowns and bridges: Teeth that need repair after an accident or excessive decay can be treated by using a crown, which is an artificial replacement for the upper portion of the tooth. A bridge involves placing an alternate tooth that is held in place using two crowns that are bonded on adjacent teeth.

5 Tips To Improved Skin Care

Your skin is the first thing that people notice about you and that is why a proper skin care regimen is so important. There are many products that claim to help improve skin tone and promote a flawless complexion, but the truth is that there is no such thing as instant results. An effective skin care regimen is one that is done consistently over a time before results will begin to develop.

Skin Care Tip 1:
Always use some type of exfoliation product, which will help to remove old skin cells and other debris and particles from your skin. This will expose the healthy cells and rid your body from the old ones.

Skin Care Tip 2:
If possible, avoid constant sun exposure and tanning beds. In addition to being dangerous where health is concerned, these may also lead to early signs of aging. Everyone loves a suntan, but there is no reason to sacrifice your skin or your health in order to achieve it. Therefore, many individuals opt for a self-tanning lotion instead. Back in the day, these products had a tendency to turn the skin orange, but that is no longer the case. Improvements have helped to give self-tanning products a more natural, streak-free look. Before applying the lotion to your entire body, apply it to a small test area just to make sure there is no irritation.

Skin Care Tip 3:
If your lips tend to become chapped in the winter months or wind burnt at other times, using lip balm or lipstick will help to protect the lips from natures worst.

Skin Care Tip 4:
Dry or cracked skin can be very unbearable. Not to mention the discomfort of tight red skin, it can be downright embarrassing. A container of Pacquin Plus hand & body cream will eliminate soreness, redness and help to add moisture back to dry skin.

Skin Care Tip 5:
Do not use products that irritate your skin in any way, including soaps that have harsh ingredients. If possible, use a moisturizing soap or that which is designed for sensitive skin.
In addition to these tips, skin care products are available as commercial or prescription based treatments. A dermatologist is often consulted for matters relating to acne or other skin disorders, especially if they are severe. Many skin care enthusiasts also believe in using plenty of moisturizing body lotion in order to replenish the skins natural moisture, which is often stripped in todays harsh environment.

The information in this article is to be used for informational purposes. It should not be considered as, or used in conjunction with, professional medical advice. Consult your doctor prior to beginning any skin care regimen or if you have been diagnosed with any disorder involving the skin.

Is Hoodia all Hooey?

If you are like me the BS detectors go off when you see the words diet and pill anywhere near each other. Weight loss is a straight mathematical proposition. If you consume more calories than you burn - you gain weight. If you consume fewer calories than you burn - you lose weight. Weight loss works as certain as the laws of gravity. No exceptions. The chance of waking up in the morning to discover that pounds of fat have flown off your body is as likely as finding that your car has flown onto the roof of the nearest building.

So forgive my skepticism when a friend emailed me a BBC article (BBC. Tom Mangold. May 30, 2003) about a "Kalahari cactus diet." I read it. I did a little more research. I'm convinced!

Even starving people don't eat themselves to death because within the hypothalamus there are nerve cells that sense glucose sugar. Food consumption puts sugar into the blood stream. The sugar converts to glucose. The hypothalamus senses the change in glucose and eventually tells your brain that immediate survival is assured and that it's OK to stop eating.

Well, this Kalahari cactus, called hoodia, has a molecule which scientists have named p.57 that is about 10,000 times more active in the hypothalmus than glucose.

That means that hoodia fires those glucose sugar nerve cells which makes your brain think you are full. You may not have eaten anything at all. And now you don't even want to.

Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes (CBS) traveled to the Kalahari to do a show about hoodia. Stahl tried it. Said it tasted like cucumber and, most importantly, did not have any desire to eat or drink for the rest of the day. She reported there were no after effects or side effects.

Big pharma has jumped on this and maybe some day they will be able to synthesize p.57. But for now Mother Nature has not given up her secrets and the only way to benefit from what the BBC call "an organic pill that kills the appetite and attacks obesity" is to get natural hoodia from the Kalahari. There are plans to farm the plant but nobody knows for sure if commercially grown hoodia will have the same properties as the wild plant.

Apparently not all hoodia is equal. Only Hoodia gordonii has p.57. Other Kalahari cactus plants are...cactus. The US government and the South African government regulate the importation and harvesting of Hoodia gordonii. Only companies licensed by the Western Cape Conservation Authority of South Africa, and who have the Certificates to prove it, are selling the genuine article. As you would expect with something this valuable there are lots of exploiters so that Certificate of authenticity is important.

For populations where obesity is a legitimate national health concern, a natural, safe and effective appetite suppressant can't be anything other than a good thing. You have to wonder about the longevity of the supply however.

For individual use there are other considerations. Your body needs a daily supply of protein and other nutrients to function normally and to stay healthy. Is Hoodia gordonii so powerful that you won't eat even the minimal amounts? Or drink a healthy volume of water?

Tips and Tricks With Eye Makeup and Eyeshadow

When a person looks at a woman's face, more often than not the first thing he or she notices are her eyes. The eyes are the windows to the soul, as they say, and they are the brightest and the most beautiful features in a woman's face. That is why the eyes are given much attention when eye makeup is applied to her face and the choice of eyeshadow and the way it is applied is always done with great care.

Whenever you put on your eye makeup, your aim should always be to make your eyes look brighter. Your eye makeup should make your eyes stand out among the other features of your face. You can achieve this by selecting the right colors for your eyeshadow and creating the right blend of eyeshadow for your eyes.

The colors you choose for your eyeshadow should either match the color of your eyes or provide a contrast to it. If your eyes are blue, then blue eyeshadow would work perfectly for you. If your eyes are brown or hazel, brownish or golden tints for your eyeshadow would be gorgeous. Nonetheless, blue eyeshadow on brown eyes can provide a very nice contrast and make the eyes appear brighter.

Your eyeshadow should be composed of three shades: a light color such as taupe for your base shadow, a darker highlighter for the crease of your eyes, and the main color for your eyelid that is a shade lighter than your highlighter. The key to making your eyeshadow work is to blend in these three colors.

Applying your eye makeup comes after you have put foundation on your face. Always make it a point to put on your makeup from the eyes downward. Before putting on eye makeup, prime your lids first with eye cream for protecting the sensitive skin of your eyelids, and then dab on a little foundation over them. The foundation will make sure that your eyeshadow will last for hours.

After you are done with the foundation, dab on the base color for your eyeshadow, covering the whole lid and the brow bone. Follow it with the main color for your eyelid. The highlighter comes next, but do take care how you put your highlighter because if applied the wrong way, your highlighter can make your eyes look too big and too beady. Keep your highlighter to the outer edges of your eyes. Also, avoid putting highlighter on your brow bone, unless you are putting on makeup for an evening affair or going to a photo shoot. Blend the three shades of your eyeshadow carefully so they appear to smooth over each other.

After you are done with your eyeshadow, you can start putting on the other elements of your eye makeup, applied to the eyebrows and the eyelashes. Your eyebrows give character to your eyes, so you should not neglect them when you are putting on eye makeup. Brush them with a brow brush and then shape them with eyeliner. Make sure that your eyeliner pencil is sharp and matches the shade of your mascara.

As for your eyelashes, the proper application of mascara on them will do a lot in making your eyes pop. Mascara extends the length of your eyelashes and makes them appear thicker. Curl your eyelashes first with an eyelash curler before putting on your eyeshadow so the thing would not botch your carefully blended eyeshadow. Put just enough mascara and wipe away excess mascara from the applicator before putting it to your lashes so that your lashes will not clump together. Also, use smudge-proof and waterproof mascara so that it will not run if ever tears come to your eyes, especially when you are wearing contact lenses. To finish it off, line your eyelids just under the lashes with eyeliner.

If you want special touches to your eye makeup, you can put on a little shimmer on your eyes to make them appear brighter. If your age lingers around 30 and above, however, use shimmer with caution because shimmer can attract unwanted attention to the wrinkles around your eyes, if you have them already. Special occasions require special touches on your eye makeup, though, and in that case, you can put a little amount of shimmer on your brow bone. You can further brighten your eyes by drawing a dot or two with white eyeliner or eyeshadow on the inner edge of your eyes.

Another thing you should remember when putting on eye makeup is to go for balance. If you are wearing bright red lipstick, tone down your eye makeup. In fact, you can completely forego wearing eye shadow and just stick to mascara and eyeliner if you are wearing red lipstick. Wearing red lipstick and dark eyeshadow will only make you appear like a clown.

In putting on makeup, we should take care how we put on our eye makeup and how we apply eyeshadow. The eyes, after all, are the most beautiful features on a woman's face, so we should emphasize their beauty always.

Colour Contact Lenses - Corrective, Therapeutic and Cosmetic

Prescribed, corrective colour contact lenses are actually more popular than lenses that are purely cosmetic though; sometimes people prefer certain tints to help them see their environment better (colorblind people have had mild success with tinted lenses that make it easier for them to discern colors), others like to have tinted lenses that can be found easily when they are dropped on the ground or in the sink, while still others simply want a new eye color.

Contact lenses are classified as corrective, therapeutic, and cosmetic. For those who are short sighted, near sighted, or who have astigmatism (all refractive defects of the eye) corrective contact lenses are in order. In these cases, an eye patient will mostly likely be prescribed spherical lenses. Therapeutic contact lenses cure other problems that are non refractive, like dry eye, and some types of therapeutic lenses even deliver medicine to the eye.

Two types of cosmetic lenses are colour contact lenses and special effects contact lenses. While these lenses occasionally correct vision when needed (they are basically spherical lenses), they also can blur vision because of their design. Colour contact lenses essentially change the appearance of the eye.

Some people may require colour contact lenses for less superficial reasons (perhaps they have a physical deformity on their iris) while others may simply want to ditch their natural brown eye color for a more appealing blue. Natural shades like hazel or blue are available but so are wilder colors like purple. A subtler colour contact lens is the tinted lens, which enhances one's natural eye color, as opposed to drastically changing it.

It is important that a person finds colour contact lenses that suit their natural features though; otherwise their eyes may look strange.

Exercise and Your Complexion

Its true--regular exercise nourishes the skin all over the body with fresh blood, nutrients and oxygen. At the same time, the increased blood flow and circulation that come with working out helps to draw toxins out of the body, improving the condition of all your vital organs, the epidermis included.

Many people think that sweat can trigger acne flare-ups. In fact, sweating is great for congested skin--it promotes the flushing of impurities from the epidermal layer and cleans out the pores. Moreover, vigorous exercise actually corrects the hormonal imbalances that can trigger blemishes, thus reducing the likelihood of outbreaks. How? Any physical routine that you enjoy--yoga, running, biking, spinning, pilates, boxing, etc.--lessens the stress you encounter on a daily basis, helping to prevent stress-related acne.

Exercise may not be a miracle cure-all--you may still experience breakouts from time to time--but your acne will almost certainly be less severe and of a shorter duration.

Exercise is also wonderful for other skin conditions that may not have to do with acne at all. Are you worried about your skin losing its elasticity or becoming thinner and less resilient? This is a common problem for many of us as we age. As we grow older we start to lose collagen, making us look gaunt or tired. Physical activity can actually promote the growth of collagen in your skin cells, plumping up your facial skin and making you look younger and more vibrant.

And if youre worried about wrinkles, consider this: the relaxation that comes after a vigorous bout of exercise has the effect of making your muscles, facial muscles included, soften up. That means your lines will appear less pronounced, contributing to the youthful look you are trying to cultivate.

A smaller waist, better muscle tone, softer skin, fewer blemishes and an overall younger and fresher look? Theres really not any reason not to exercise on a regular basis!

What is the Best Color for Your Sedu Hairstyle?

Sedu hair style is usually considered to be straight hairstyle, but nothing apart this is mentioned, when speaking about Sedu hair. So, we may turn on our imagination and start seeking for the perfect color match to your own Sedu hair style.

Deciding on what hair color to choose is a ve-e-ry painstaking process. You think about highlighting, or changing brown into black, or blond into red. This day you would like to have hazel and the next day sun will make you love blond, and the autumn will force you to choose red.

There are hundreds of opportunities for the hair color. However, the main thing is to find something that will make your hairstyle a Sedu one. The crucial keypoints of the best choice is your character, your complexion, the color of your eyes, and your age.

Keypoint #1: Your character

To choose perfect hair color for your character means to use those color patterns that will naturally reflect your personality. Your image is a single whole, and suitable hair color will help you to ensure that your Sedu hairstyle reveals your character in the best way.

Brown and hazel hair colors will suit everybody from business women to teenage girls.

Black color will be good for self-confident people, while blond can bring out mild character.

Red and copper shades discover passion and desire, and highlights express people who like to compose contrasts.

Even acid green for your hair color can suit you, until it matches your personality. So, mind your character, when deciding on your own Sedu hair color.

Keypoint #2: Your complexion

To express the Sedu part of your image and not spoil it with something unsuitable, you should remember about the complexion. Not that it should restrict you in colors, but shades should be picked up rather carefully.

Dont listen to people who say that ethnic hair can be only of particular color to match the skin complexion. Its not true. But still it is necessary to take care that the color youve chosen suits your image. Remember Halle Berry in the X-men? Does she look bad? Of course, not.

At the same time pale skin is rather sensitive to the black shades. When the wrong shade is picked up, you may even look like Mrs Adams. And cherry red dont like tanned skin, while it matches pale people.

The bottom line is following: take care of the shade and it will take care of your Sedu image.

Keypoint #3: The color of the eyes

When speaking about perfect Sedu hairstyle, we should say that the color of your eyes is one of the most important questions. It is rather difficult to find the shade that will express the beauty of your eyes.

But there is some advice that can be considered useful in this situation:

Dark grey and dark blue eyes can match everything.

Light grey and blue eyes find themselves in friendship with blond and light brown; though sometimes these eye colors also fit brown black.

Dark brown and hazel eyes match every hair color, but mind the complexion.

To say more, as long as you express your eyes beauty through the hair style and hair color, you express your own beauty, because your eyes reflect your personality. Moreover, your Sedu hair style only wins if everything about your style is in harmony.

Keypoint #4: Your age

Chanel once said that all women are beautiful and pretty. But prettiness disappears with age, though beauty remains. She also added that its a shame that all women want to be pretty, and no one desires to be beautiful.

I may add to this that Sedu style and hairstyle express your beauty, not prettiness, something that lies inside you, your secret passions and hidden desires. So, when you are not afraid of your age, either youre in your -teens or your ties, it is noticeable. You show bravery and dignity, and this is very attractive and Sedu.

Here are some tips to remember when matching age and hair color:

1.Black loves women in their twenties and thirties. That is if you have long and middle hairstyles. If you have short hairstyle, you may wear black as long as you like.

2.Brown and hazel colors love everybody. They are very democratic for every complexion, age, eye color and hairstyle. They look Sedu all the time.

3.Light blond matches pale complexion in any age. Dark blond matches everybody of any age. Your hairstyle remains Sedu as long as you like, while youre blond.

4.Red is a very tricky color. Dark copper shades are perfect for pale complexions and all ages, while light red is a perfect choice for Asian complexion and pale complexion in teens and twenties, and at the same time cherry red highlights are very sexy and Sedu for everybody.

5.Highlights are one of the opportunities to change your hairstyle using contrasts. You may usually match any color with any color. If youve decided to change the hair color cardinally, make highlights. Youll compose contrasts and show that you are very attractive with every color, even with two colors simultaneously.

All in all, your fantasy is the best adviser. There are hundreds of colors and thousands of shades. Remember about all above said and youll find how to turn your common hairstyle into unique Sedu hairstyle.
